Cayman Islands-based Lumia Prepares for Token Swap Supported by Binance
In a significant Development for the blockchain industry, Binance has confirmed its support for Lumia's impending Token Swap Event (TSE). The Token swap is a crucial step before the launch of Lumia's new Chain, and Binance's backing will streamline the process for ORN holders. Upon completion of the upgrade, Binance will automate the swap, crediting users' accounts with the new Lumia Token (LUMIA) on a 1:1 basis.
Token Swap Details and Schedule
With the Token Swap Event on the horizon, Lumia is gearing up for a seamless transition with Binance's assistance. ORN holders are not mandated to use Binance for the swap, but many are likely to opt for the convenience it offers. Binance will temporarily halt ORN deposits and withdrawals on October 15 to facilitate the swap and enable LUMIA deposits by October 18.
The new LUMIA Token is set to Play a pivotal role in network Governance, featuring a deflationary mechanism to align incentives between HyperNode operators and network users. Besides serving as the Chain's native gas Token, LUMIA will grant access to premium features and potential airdrops from projects launching on Lumia.
