X Empire Set to Launch X Token on The Open Network
X Empire, a popular Elon Musk-themed tap-to-Earn Game, is gearing up for an exciting launch of its X token on The Open Network on October 24. This announcement comes after the game successfully attracted over 50 million players in recent months, making it one of the hottest Games in the Crypto Gaming space.
Delays in Launch and Chill Phase Season
The much-anticipated launch of the X token was slightly delayed as X Empire concluded its “Mining phase” on September 30, signaling an imminent drop. However, developers encountered unexpected delays, prompting the introduction of a brief “chill phase” season to keep players engaged.
During the “chill phase” season, all player progress will be reset to zero, offering an opportunity for players to earn additional Rewards. The X Empire team has allocated an extra 5% of the token supply to reward players who participate in this mini-season of gameplay.
X Token Distribution and Future Plans
Overall, players can look forward to receiving 75% of the total X token supply, which amounts to 517.5 billion Tokens out of the 690 billion supply. The remaining tokens are reserved for new users and future phases following the airdrop, indicating the game's intention to continue evolving after the token launch.
X Empire originally launched as “Musk Empire,” where players earned in-game coins by tapping the screen and upgraded attributes of a cartoonish Elon Musk character. The game later rebranded and introduced avatars based on other prominent Crypto figures like Pavel Durov and Vitalik Buterin.
